"As Dean of Education, I hope to teach potential members what it means to be a lady of UKD. I hope that with my position, I will teach these ladies the ideals of being a UKD. I have been a sister of Upsilon Kappa Delta for five years now. After five years, one of the biggest lessons UKD has taught me is to never forget who I am, nor what I stand for. UKD has always given me the privilege of staying true to who I am as well as allowing me to think for myself."

"When I was freshman here at Fresno State I did not have any friends attending with me. I knew that I wanted to make friends and those unforgettable memories you make in college so I decided to check out Greek organizations. From the very first social with my organization I felt extremely comfortable and that same night I made the decision to join the Lovely Ladies of Upsilon Kappa Delta. I am very reserved and timid but that did not stop my sisters from pushing me to get out of my shell and for that I admired them. I am openly gay and when I informed that to my sisters I was instantly accepted and there was absolutely no judgment. With such great qualities within knowing my sisters for only a week there was no regret with my choice. Since joining UKD I have found out more of who I am as a person that I cannot explain how grateful I am."
